Today I’m gonna talk about the second half of my YouTube workflow! The first part is Asana – this is where I keep track of all my videos and the processes they’re in (is it edited? Is it being uploaded? When will it be posted?) and connect that account to a Virtual Assistant or a VA. As for my VA, I hired her off OnlineJobs.ph. This part is fairly easy – the site does have a pricey monthly fee BUT you only need to pay it on the months you’re using the site: got your VA in the first month? No need to pay the rest! The site works simply, post a listing and wait for offers to come in – you obviously want the best of the best so make sure to add in a little extra in your description to filter out bots and bad candidates. You can do this by telling them to start their email with a phrase (I used “YouTube Rocks!”) to see that they read the entire brief or to ask them to send a video over instead (to weed out the bots). Now once you’ve hired your VA, work on your Asana set-up. Remember to make a template first so you don’t have to keep making the system from scratch - feel free to screenshot or pause the video to get a better view of my workflow! Make your system as descriptive as possible so you can keep track of the process and also to make things not come off as so overwhelming! So, with this process, I can do tons of recordings a day (and sure, I do end up thirsty at the end, but it’s worth it for you guys!) and hand off the videos to my VA and let them do the work. It may seem like too much going it, but it’s honestly such a simple system that WORKS and the growth of my channel these past few months can attest to that!
