This is some school work done by my daughter (as she is homeschooling, and worked alone, I helped a bit) . This type of work is usually carried out in 2's or 3's. The purpose is: find a subject and make it personal..; that's to avoid the basic type of exposé(that you can borrow from a student who did it the year before!). So, being interested in modern slavery in western countries ... she was (naturally)persuaded by a supervisor on line, to concentrate on developping countries instead!!!. So she worked at it from September to March , and made it personal by asking: as I have neither money nor qualification, what can I do ? what can people like me do ? so she applied as a volunteer to help children in difficulties and if you want to know the fascinating rest of the story , please watch both part 1 and 2 (we had to make 2 parts due to youtube limitation) . Please let us know what you think of it ! The French language should be no problem,...plenty of pictures that speak for themselves. (translation of the legend of the colibri/humming bird below) Before presenting it to a board of examiners, she had to write a report to describe her processes. She presented it as a magazine for consumers and attached this video to it! The legend of the colibri told by Mr Rabhi in part 2: "once , in the Rain Forest , there was a big fire . The colibri , which is known to be a very active bird , going constantly from one flower to another, was very busy on that particular day . It would come and go between the blaze and the river, carrying water in his bill, and "pouring" one drop at a time on the flames. The armadillo, was there, watching ang getting irritated by the colibri's almost frenetic activity. Eventually, he asked : what are you expecting tiny colibri? you can't possibly think you'll manage to put the fire out all by yourself, can you? and the tiny weeny colibri answered , unperturbed: I know ... but I 'm doing my share."
